1:1 Support

Would you like to talk to someone about coming out, your identity and many other LGBTQ+ related conversations? We understand it can feel tough at times and you might want to arrange a chat with an LGBTQ+ Youth Worker, we would be pleased to organise this with you.

Our focus at 2BU is to provide support to overcome challenges and thrive. Through 1:1 sessions and flexible support options we aim to equip you with coping strategies to navigate life's challenges. This includes understanding identity, dealing with mental health or sexual health concerns or managing external pressures such as bullying or discrimination.

Developing self-confidence and encouraging autonomy are important to us here at 2BU. By encouraging you to take an active role in shaping your support (eg, choosing how and where to engage), we hope to help you develop resilience and a greater sense of agency whilst inspiring you to embrace your identity with pride.

Our counsellors are trained, insured, Enhanced DBS checked and supervised according to their professional membership organisations and work in accordance with relevant counselling ethical practice as well as 2BU's values and ethos.
